Become part of the Windows Insider Program

OfflineInsiderEnroll is a free utility for PCs created by an indie developer who goes by the handle abbodi1406. It is essentially a script that users can run to enable access to the Windows Insider Program on computers that are not signed in to a Microsoft account.

To be able to participate in the Windows Insider Program like for Windows 10, for example, Microsoft required machines that were logged into existing Microsoft accounts. However, with OfflineInsiderEnroll, users can bypass this restriction and be granted access to it even without an account enabled.

How does OfflineInsiderEnroll work?

First and foremost, you should note that the OfflineInsiderEnroll is a utility that doesn’t come with any graphical user interface of its own. It is simply a script that you will need to run to enable access to the Windows Insider Program. This program was introduced by Microsoft to allow developers and certain users access to pre-release builds for the latest version of its Windows and Windows Server operating systems.

However, there was a strict requirement that any machine that you wanted to use the program on had to be signed in to an existing Microsoft account. This is where OfflineInsiderEnroll comes in to provide you with an option to bypass that. The script itself needs to be run with administrative rights enabled via the "Run as administrator" option from the right-click menu.

Once open, it will provide you with channel options. Type in the letter that corresponds to the particular channel that you wish to join, and press Enter. You will need to restart your PC to enable Microsoft Flight Signing if this is your first time joining the program. The only thing to take note of is that this will only work with Windows RS5 and later.

Early previews of Windows releases

All in all, if you're the type of user who likes to keep up with the latest and greatest that Microsoft has to offer for its operating systems, be sure to check out OfflineInsiderEnroll. With it, you'll be able to get early previews of Windows builds before they get released, and you won't even need an account to do so.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
